ABOUT ME
I have had a camera in my hands my whole life. Over the last 10 years a growing number of friends, family and co-workers asked me to photograph their families and events. Things grew organically and before long I was contributing to Tube Magazine, MileSplit.com and Street Art Cities and seeing my photos published in several media outlets including:SacTown Magazine, Sac News and Review, Self Magazine, National Public Radio, and several others.
More than seeing my images in publications, providing clients with images that highlight special elements of who they are is what drives my passion for photography. I embrace the challenge of capturing the essence of a subject and have developed a personal aesthetic that leans towards the natural. I focus on portraiture that captures mood through light and composition, in the hopes of getting beyond the surface of a subject.
